We're seeking a talented AS400 Programmer to join our client’s team. You'll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain AS400 iSeries applications using RPG (RPGLE, Free Form), CL/CLLE, and Embedded SQL.
- Database Management: Create, optimize, and manage DB2 databases, including SQL Stored Procedures, Triggers, and complex queries.
- API Development: Develop and manage APIs using Zend Framework to integrate with external systems.
- System Optimization: Utilize tools like DBU to optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Production Support: Provide timely support and resolution for production issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation of technical designs, workflows, and processes.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of AS400 iSeries development experience
- Strong proficiency in RPG (RPGLE, Free Form), CL/CLLE, and Embedded SQL
- Expertise in DB2 SQL, including Stored Procedures, Triggers, and optimization techniques
- Experience with tools like DBU
- Knowledge of JDA MMS and D&W systems (preferred)
- Zend Framework API development experience
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
